A show for and by children in collaboration with four singers from the Ensemble Jacques Moderne. For this project, the Ensemble calls upon Hervé Suhubiette, an expert in choral music and a composer of children’s music.
The Cris de Paris immortalized by Clément Janequin (c. 1585-1558) will serve as the starting point. Hervé Suhubiette will draw inspiration from this famous piece to compose a new work, performed by the soloists of the ensemble and primary school pupils. From the Cris de Paris will emerge a poetic and musical variation on food, gourmet delight, gastronomy, and even "junk food”.
